Transportation Working Group

The Pikes Peak Region has a fair amount of trails and bike lanes, but mass transit offerings are at a bare minimum. The Transit budget is cut year after year despite the fact that the public would like to see service expanded.

The Transportation Working Group has been exploring how to create a multi-modal transportation system that would allow people to get out of their cars. The group is working closely with the current Future of Regional Transit study.
