Sponsors and Members

Since 2008, the Green Cities Coalition has been building a collaborative infrastructure for businesses interested in promoting sustainability. One of our charter members, Catamount Institute, launched the Pikes Peak Sustainable Business Network in March, 2009 to help businesses adopt energy-efficient and environmentally friendly operations. The GCC encourages all businesses to consider joining.

In addition, the GCC "Circle of Commerce" continues to provide opportunities to promote business and forge partnerships.

Benefits

There are several ways to promote your business to the sustainability community in the Pikes Peak Region:

Become a GCC Sponsor: Add your name to our "Sponsor" list with a donation of $200. All sponsors with websites get a hyperlink to their names on the Members page and a feature article to run on the GCC website. Sponsors also receive special recognition at every Green Drinks event.

Sponsor a Green Drinks: Nearly every month, we organize a Green Drinks/Sustainability Happy Hour at the site of one of our member companies or organizations. We always need 1-3 businesses to sponsor the place, the food and/or the beverages. Between 50-100 people regularly attend Green Drinks and your business will receive sponsorship recognition in the publicity materials. If you spend $50 on food or beverages, we will trade that contribution for a business or organizational membership.

Advertise on the website: For a donation of $100 or more, we will place an ad for your business on the GCC website front page.

Underwrite a Green Cities Action Alert: For a donation of $100 or more, we will place an ad for your business at the end of our monthly "Greener Times" email, which currently goes out to 2,300 email addresses.
